Film news: Double bill of desert action movies set for UK release Aug 2015
The “explosive” award-winning 3 NIGHTS IN THE DESERT stars Amber Tamblyn (Two and a Half Men), as Anna, a pill-popping neurotic pop-star who is reunited after ten years with her former bandmates Travis played by Wes Bentley (Hunger Games) and Barry (Boardwalk Empire’s Vincent Piazza). They travel to a remote desert location, hoping to heal old wounds and sexual conflicts. They hear about a cave with mysterious healing powers but then discover that a whole bunch of new wounds are about to be inflicted…
The Director is Gabriel Cowan, who is known for producing acclaimed horror films such as Cheap Thrills, Bad Milo, The Scribbler and Static it also features music from the hit Indie band Edward Sharpe and the magnetic Zeros.
