Synopsis:

“The Walking Dead Social Game” blends elements of strategy and survival-horror to create a unique, tensioned-filled social gaming experience. Faced with an ever-present threat from man-eating zombies (called “walkers”), players use combat, stealth and trickery to stay alive and complete missions in their quest to survive the apocalypse.

“The audience for AMC's 'The Walking Dead’ are passionate and deeply interested in the world of the show. Our social game allows them to explore and experience the zombie apocalypse for themselves, along with their friends,” said Mac McKean, AMC’s SVP of Digital Media. 

The game offers a stat system based on the characters’ attributes such as stamina, shooting accuracy, range of movement and vision.  As you progress you earn points, based on your skill, which enables you to improve on these stats.  This all allows for players to customize the skill-set of the squad members.  No one is safe as even the player’s own Facebook friends may turn and attack as blood-thirsty walkers.  The game was developed by Eyes Wide Games of Atlanta, GA.

AMC concluded the second season of “The Walking Dead” in March of 2012. AMC’s “The Walking Dead” is based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics.  It tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home.  “The Walking Dead” Season 3 premieres Sunday, October 14 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC.

Movies: Total Recall

Total Recall is an upcoming science-fiction action film based on the 1990 film of the same name and the 1966 novelette We Can Remember It for You Wholesale by Philip K. Dick. Unlike the original 1990 film, this newest version contains strong political influences, as it is mentioned in the plot. It is directed by Len Wiseman and written by Mark Bomback, James Vanderbilt and Kurt Wimmer. It was first announced in 2009. It is scheduled to be released in the United States and Canada on August 3, 2012.


Plot:
Euroamerica (formerly United States) and New Shanghai (formerly China) fight for political power in the far Fascist future. A simple factory worker suffering from violent nightmares (Farrell) begins to suspect that he's a spy whose memory and personality were erased and replaced -- though he is unaware which side of the fight he's on and how important his lost memories will be in its outcome. What matters to him the most is that he must team up with a young female freedom fighter (Biel) in order for both of them to change the political system in their own country, Euroamerica, which is currently controlled by Euroamerican President Vilos Cohaagen (Cranston) and his corrupt government.

Movies: Leprechaun: Origins

WWE Studios is joining forces with Lionsgate for a two-film slate, the first of which will be a reboot of the hit “Leprechaun” franchise. “Leprechaun: Origins” will star WWE’s own mischievous Superstar Hornswoggle making his feature film debut, proving the old adage that there truly are no small parts, only small actors. A writer or director has yet to be announced.

The comedic horror series got its start in 1993, and starred Warwick Davis in the titular role. It also launched the career of “Friends” megastar Jennifer Aniston in her first major part. Five sequels followed, creating a cult favorite series. The formidable tag team of Lionsgate and WWE Studios - the same pairing responsible for "See No Evil" starring Kane and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's "The Condemned" - will share production costs and the development of marketing strategies for the relaunched franchise. Lionsgate will lead the distribution efforts.


Hornswoggle, a WWE fixture since 2006, will grace the silver screen for the first time. The master of the Tadpole Splash and former (and final) WWE Cruiserweight Champion, ‘Swoggle has also been the official mascot of D-Generation X.
